    :

Stay away. the earlier model is better in both range and battery life. I too had battery failure within 2 weeks of ownership. It only looks better, but “you should never judge a book by its cover……”

don’t buy this one. useless. I bought from Mica and in few day I had to return it. Trying to look for older version but not one got it. This one doesn’t even deserve 1 star but had to select it.

The remote worked for 2 weeks, we changed the battery and now the light comes on but doesn’t open the garages nor the gate. The product should be recalled.

Used battery within a month. Now does not work at all. Two remotes. Same problem.

    (verified owner):

Battery only lasts about a month or two. The back screw stripped after the first battery change and now after the 4th the tab holding the black back has broken off leaving the remote useless.

      Hi Susan,
Thanks for the mail. Unfortunately the manufacturers discontinued all old models and now only supply this version, we would recommend you add a third party receiver which is a small box which connects to your garage door which allows you to use other remote brands. If you need any advice please feel free to get in touch.

Pathetic remote. It only works, sometimes when I am physically in the garage. It does not work from outside.

There is no security when you have to exit your vehicle, go into the house and open the door.

Absolutely shocking remotes.!!! My supplier, Dafron, told me that they are no longer going to sell these remotes as the manufacturer is no longer going to replace the faulty ones. I bought 4 of them and the batteries DO NOT LAST.
I have now bought two Sentry receivers and had them installed for R450.00. This allows you to have different remotes tuned in to your Digi Door motors, so I no longer need to replace these useless remotes anymore. By the way, they are also one of the most expensive remotes, I now use a Gemini remote which cost R150.00 and they work and the batteries last.
GOOD BYE DIGI DOOR REMOTES – FOR GOOD!
Shocking customer after sales service – Disgusting! Times are tough enough and I don’t have the time or money to keep replacing remote batteries or these expensive remotes that are not capable of doing their job!
